When i heard the score i was impressed. I couldn't believe it and instantly i watched the game. I wanted to see if Real Sociedad was that tragic as the score said, and maybe it was worse...
Real Sociedad fighted the previous season for the Champions League with Valencia. Their fight was so tough that kept until the final fixture of the championship.
However, the performance of the team in the group is very disappointing. Maybe, it would be better not to have entered in the competition.
Shakhtar certainly worthed this win. Their attacking midfielders are running so, so fast. They are unstoppable. A very interesting fact is that when Shakhtar loses the ball in the attack, after a bad dribble or something, its players are trying at once to take the ball back with an organised pressing of four players.
The first half:
Vela, Griezmann and Castro were changing many times their positions on the field. However, the "home" defenders controlled easily the attacking plan of Real Sociedad.
A very nice move was that of Chory Castro. Although that he played in the right,he started his movement from the left and Griezmann went to his place. He began from the left, he moved to the centre and then he went in front of Vela and the mexican standed behind him, like a supportive forward.
From the ukranian side, i kept one rare movement. When Fred moved with the ball on his feet and he was ready to pass the centre, Bernard moved next to Teixeira in order to help Fred. He gave him one more solution, instead of Teixeira, to pass.
The second half:
The only thing that Arrasate substantially changed was his plan in the attack. Prieto took a more attacking role in the game and Agirretxe and Seferovic got into in the same time! The coach of Real Sociedad decided to put in the game two capable but too slow strikers. The attack was tottally different. From Vela, Griezmann (too fast) he chose Agirretxe, Seferovic (too slow). I think that the best solution would be to select Agirretxe from the first minute and to choose two between Griezmann, Castro and Vela in the wings.
In addition, i wanted to choose who was the flop of the match but the challenge between Cadamuro, Ansotegi and Elustondo was huge...
