Cristian Rodriguez played in the wings. Firstly in the left and then in the right. More specifically, when he was a left winger, he was moving from outside to the inside of the box. In the second half, in his new role he disappeared as the game moved to the left.
I consider that with Raul Garcia, Insua was the mvp of the substitutes that played. He had a solid performance in the defence, noone could pass from him. He was a rock. Only in the first minutes he had a small problem, he was giving much space to Hulk. However, the reason is that he had to adjust. It isn't easy to play in the Champions League,when you are Forever the substitute of the indispensable Filipe Luis. Filipe Luis is from other planet, he is an exceptional left back so in the defence and so in the attack.
Guilavogui dissappointed me very very much. It was his chance to prove himself. But with this appearence he cannot take the shirt from Tiago or Mario Suarez. In my opinion, he will leave in summer because he will not have many minutes with the rojiblancos. In the game against Zenit, he was very good in the marking and he was cutting many passes. But, when he had the ball on his feet he wasn't passing it well. Witsel beated alone both Guilavogui and Gabi.
